Malibu Party Bus Rental
A Malibu party bus rental is usually a daytime booking, a wine day, a beach celebration or a sunset drive along Pacific Coast Highway, and it depends on route planning more than any other trip we run. LA Nights runs party buses and Sprinter vans into Malibu from across Los Angeles, with pickups anywhere from the Westside to the Valley.

Where a Malibu party bus actually goes
Malibu stretches about twenty-one miles along PCH, and the places groups ask for are spread along all of it: the Malibu Pier and the Civic Center area near Malibu Canyon Road, Point Dume and Zuma Beach farther west, and the tasting rooms and vineyard experiences in the hills above the coast. Malibu has its own small wine region, the Malibu Coast AVA, and a wine tour is the most common reason people book a bus here.
The coastline is the attraction and the constraint at once. PCH is the only road along the water, and closures for slides, fires or crashes do happen. We check PCH status the day before and the morning of every Malibu booking, and plan an alternate approach through the canyons or the Valley when the coast road is restricted. It's the one leg of a party bus out of Los Angeles where the route plan matters as much as the vehicle.
Getting a party bus in and out of Malibu
Vehicle choice matters more in Malibu than anywhere else on our map. The canyon roads, including Kanan Dume, Malibu Canyon and Topanga, are steep and winding, and some hillside venue driveways can't take a full-size coach at all. A Sprinter reaches almost everything; a large bus generally stays on PCH and the main canyon routes. Give us every stop when you book and we'll confirm each one is reachable by the vehicle you're considering before you pay a deposit.
What groups book a party bus in Malibu for
Wine days, bachelorettes, milestone birthdays, beach weddings, sunset drives up PCH and corporate retreats are the core of Malibu bookings. Larger groups planning a wine day should also look at our vineyard tours, since past about fourteen guests Temecula often makes a better wine destination than the Malibu hills. Either way, LA party bus rentals are priced from the same published sheet.
Malibu party bus prices
LA Nights publishes its bus rates instead of hiding them behind a quote form. Sprinter vans for smaller groups are priced by configuration. For a Malibu coast-and-wine day, a standard party bus (20–25 guests) for 22 people over 7 hours comes to $1,225–$1,575 at published rates, or roughly $56–$72 per person. Weekends, holidays and peak evenings sit at the top of each range; weekday and daytime bookings sit lower. The full breakdown is on the Los Angeles party bus prices page.
Choosing the right vehicle for a Malibu trip
Book against the people who have actually committed, not the invitation list; final headcounts usually come in a little under what organizers expect. Under about fifteen people, a Sprinter van rental is the efficient choice. From fifteen up, a full-size bus usually costs about the same per person and gives everyone room to stand and move. Every bus carries a sound system, LED lighting and coolers with ice, guests 21 and over can bring their own drinks, and drivers never drink. Larger coaches add dance floors and screens, with restrooms on select large buses.
Malibu is the one market where a smaller vehicle can be the right call even for a group that would fit a big bus. The route decides the vehicle, not the guest list.

Malibu party bus FAQs
How much is a Malibu party bus rental?
A standard 20–25 passenger bus runs $175–225 an hour at published rates; a seven-hour wine day comes to $1,225–1,575. Sprinters, often the better fit for Malibu's canyon venues, are priced by configuration.
Can a party bus drive the Malibu canyon roads?
A Sprinter handles nearly all of them. Full-size buses stick to PCH and the main canyon routes, and some hillside driveways are Sprinter-only. We check every stop before you book.
What happens if PCH is closed on our date?
We check road status the day before and that morning. If PCH is restricted, we reroute through the canyons or the Valley, adjusting the timeline with you.
Can we drink on the bus between wineries?
Guests 21 and over can bring their own drinks onto the bus, with coolers and ice provided. Wineries set their own rules for what you bring onto their property.
